Family Bond
A $75 Family Bond is payable once per family during registration.
The Family Bond is fully refundable at the end of the season, provided your family meets the volunteer requirements.
To qualify for your refund, your family must:
- Complete 8 approved volunteer roles throughout the season.
- Register for each volunteer role using our online volunteer system before your shift.
- Attend and complete the volunteer role you have registered for.
How it Works
Caloundra Little Athletics is proudly run by volunteers. Every Friday night, more than 200 athletes enjoy a safe, fun and organised competition thanks to the support of parents and carers who generously give their time.
Our committee members are volunteers too, balancing work, family and other commitments. To keep our club running smoothly and ensure no one person carries the workload, we ask every family to contribute throughout the season.
Important
Volunteer roles must be booked through the online volunteer system before they are completed.
Unfortunately, volunteer duties that have not been registered cannot be verified and will not count towards your Family Bond requirements.
No volunteer registration = No Family Bond refund.

Every parent who helps contributes to creating a better experience for every athlete. Whether you’re helping on the BBQ, assisting an Age Manager, setting up equipment or volunteering at one of our major events, your support helps ensure competitions run safely, efficiently and successfully.
When everyone contributes a little, no one has to do a lot.
Volunteer Opportunities
Families can choose from a variety of volunteer roles throughout the season, including:
- Friday Night Set-Up (from 4:00 pm)
- Equipment Pack-Up
- Assistant Age Manager
- Finish Line Marshal (inside or outside the track)
- Canteen Assistant
- BBQ Helper
- Toilet Cleaning & Restocking
- Raffle & Fundraising Assistant
- Open Day Carnival Volunteer (minimum 2 hours)
- Regional Relays or Regional Championships Volunteer (minimum 2 hours)
- Working Bee (minimum 2 hours)
- Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser
- Presentation Night Helper
Booking Your Volunteer Roles
Volunteer shifts are released throughout the season and can be booked online.
We encourage families to book their preferred roles early, as some positions fill quickly.
Booking your volunteer shifts not only secures your preferred role but also allows the club to accurately track volunteer contributions and process Family Bond refunds at the end of the season.
